Children’s Privacy Policy
We value our younger users and comply fully with laws protecting children’s online privacy. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If a visitor indicates an age below 13, our site does not request, nor will it require, any personal data (name, email, photos, etc.). Parents should be aware that no sign-up or personal profile is needed to use our content.
If in the future we introduce any feature that could involve data from children, we will obtain verifiable parental consent first, in accordance with the FTC’s COPPA rules. That means we would inform parents about what data is collected, allow them to review it, and require their explicit approval before allowing a child to submit any information. Parents will have the right to review any data about their child, revoke permission at any time, and request deletion of their child’s information. At present, because we collect no personal data from anyone, these rights are a formality: parents can take comfort in the fact that their children’s use of this site involves no exposure of personal information.
Under the European GDPR, we would likewise ensure parental consent for any data from children under age 16; we apply this principle even if EU law does not strictly apply, as a best practice. In all cases, content is presented in child-friendly language (per GDPR guidelines on clear communication to children) and parents are invited to contact us with any concerns or questions at info@helovesmath.com.
