Privacy Policy
He Loves Math does not collect personal data from users. We may use only minimal website analytics (such as page-visit counts or anonymized usage statistics) to improve our site performance; these analytics do not identify individual users and do not involve any third-party marketing or sales. For example, if a standard analytics tool is used, it only tracks aggregate page views and anonymized IP addresses for security and site enhancement. No personal information is sold or shared with anyone, and we do not engage in targeted advertising or affiliate tracking.
Information Collection: We do not request or obtain names, email addresses, addresses, or any personal identifiers from visitors. The only technical data we might log are basic server logs (such as an IP address, timestamp, and pages accessed), which is used solely to maintain and secure the site. This information is considered non-identifying and is never linked to a user account or profile.
Use of Data: Since no personal data is collected, there is effectively no user data to use or analyze beyond anonymized analytics. Any technical data gathered (such as traffic logs) is used only to optimize site performance, fix errors, and ensure security. We do not use any data for marketing, profiling, or automated decision-making.
Data Security: Although we collect virtually no personal data, we take security seriously. We host the site with reputable providers and use HTTPS/SSL encryption to protect any data transmitted. We apply industry-standard safeguards (such as firewalls and regular software updates) to prevent unauthorized access. In the unlikely event of a security incident or breach, we will follow FTC guidance on breach response: we will secure the system, investigate promptly, and notify affected parties and authorities as requiredftc.gov. We will document and learn from any incident to prevent future occurrences.
Third-Party Sharing: We do not share any personal information with third parties because we collect none. If we implement any third-party service (e.g. a hosted analytics platform), we will ensure it only processes data on our behalf and under strict privacy terms. In every case, any third-party service will see only aggregated or anonymized data – not personal profiles or emails.
User Rights: Under privacy laws, users have certain rights over their data. Even though we collect no personal data, we honor these principles: users (or their parents) can request to see any data we hold (of which there is virtually none), request correction, or request deletion of any account data (none exists). We commit to respecting GDPR data subject rights (such as access, correction, and erasure) and CCPA/CPRA rights (such as the right to know what is collected, the right to delete, and the right to opt out of any “sale” or sharing)dataprotection.ieoag.ca.gov. For example, California residents have the right to delete personal information collected about themoag.ca.gov. Because we do not store personal data, most of these rights are moot; but if they did apply, we would facilitate requests via our contact email. Consistent with GDPR transparency, we describe our practices in clear, plain language so that even children can understand how their data would be handleddataprotection.ie.
GDPR, CCPA, COPPA Compliance: We comply with all applicable data-protection laws. Under GDPR, we provide full information and transparency about any processing (even though none is done) and respect the requirement for simple language (especially for minors)dataprotection.ie. Under CCPA/CPRA, we will never sell or share personal information (as defined by California law), and California users can exercise all CCPA rights (right to know, right to delete, etc.)oag.ca.gov. Under COPPA, because our audience includes children under 13, we do not collect any “personal information” as defined by COPPAftc.gov. We do not require parental permission or other COPPA consents for any features, because no data collection is done at all. If we ever introduce a feature (e.g. a newsletter or account) that could collect personal info from children, we will obtain verifiable parental consent first, give parents notice, and allow parental review or deletion of their child’s data in full compliance with COPPA.
International Users: Although based in the U.S., we welcome users worldwide. We observe international standards: for instance, GDPR’s requirements on data processing and children’s consent (which generally set minimum age 16 for consent unless parent agrees) would be met if we ever collect data from EU/UK users. We do not knowingly target EU marketing without compliance. In all cases, we use plain language so that the privacy practices are easily understood by anyone, including minorsdataprotection.ie.
Contact Information: Questions or requests regarding privacy can be directed to info@helovesmath.com. We will respond to inquiries about data practices or requests to exercise rights promptly and no later than the timelines required by law (e.g. within 30 days).
